During his teenage years, Dr. Jordan worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor, where he discovered his ability to connect with children. Watching a child go from being afraid to jump into the pool to confidently jumping off the diving board was incredibly rewarding for him.

These experiences solidified his decision to specialize in pediatrics. By the time he had to choose a residency program, his choice was clear. His medical school experiences confirmed what he already knew—working with children was his calling.
