During his teenage years, Dr. Jordan worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor, where he discovered his ability to connect with children. He took great joy in helping kids overcome their fear of water and transform it into confidence. Watching a child go from being afraid to jump into the pool to confidently jumping off the diving board was incredibly rewarding for him.

These experiences solidified his decision to specialize in pediatrics. By the time he had to choose a residency program, his choice was clear. His medical school experiences confirmed what he already knew—working with children was his calling.

Growing up in Gainesville, Florida, she immersed herself in volunteer programs, babysitting, and even substitute teaching, all of which solidified her decision to pursue pediatrics.

Dr. Trudi Rash was born and raised in Wheeling, WV. Her journey toward a career in pediatrics began with a life-changing experience; she developed an interest in medicine after a serious swimming pool accident during her childhood. This experience sparked a passion for healthcare that followed her through her studies at Marshall University, where she delved into Chemistry and Zoology, before moving on to pursue her medical degree. While at medical school, Dr. Rash found pediatric medicine both challenging and rewarding, distinct from adult medicine.

Dr. Rash’s dedication to pediatrics was fueled by observing and aiding children as they grew into healthy adults in her former practice in Louisville, KY, and now in her current practice. She values the chance to be a part of her patients' growth and development, learning from each encounter.
