Your Newborn’s First Visit
The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests that your child have his or her first checkup two to three days after arriving home from the hospital. The first checkup is a vital visit, as we will be evaluating various aspects such as hydration, the feeding process, and management of upcoming weight loss. Additionally, the appointment tends to be comforting for new parents.
Insurance for Newborns
Parents of newborn babies have up to 30 days to enroll their child in his or her health insurance policy. You are welcome to contact our team with any questions you may have when enrolling your child.
